One night, a dad was flipping through storybooks with his little boy and the kid picked The Three Little Pigs for bedtime. The dad settled in and started reading the tale out loud.
When he reached the part where the first pig goes looking for things to build his house, he read,
“The little pig spotted a man pushing a wheelbarrow full of straw and asked, ‘Sir, could I have some of that straw for my house?’”
The dad closed the book for a moment and asked,
“What do you think the man said to the pig?”
His son grinned and replied,
“Oh my gosh… a talking pig!”
