During the final exam, the professor made an announcement:
“All papers must be on my desk by 2 PM sharp. Not a second later.”
When the clock struck two, every student turned in their work. The professor gathered the stack and started heading back to his office.
Suddenly, one last student rushed forward, paper in hand.
“Please, I’m only a few seconds late! You have to accept it!”
The professor shook his head. “Sorry, rules are rules.”
The student glared at him. “Do you even know who I am?”
The professor frowned. “No… I don’t.”
Without hesitation, the student shoved his paper into the middle of the stack and ran off.
